1. Choose appropriate switch sockets based on the total capacity and specific usage environment of the electrical appliances: for example, in places with high humidity, fire switches and pull switches should be selected; Switches and sockets should not be installed indoors with corrosive substances or heavy dust, but should be installed outdoors; Places with combustion and explosion hazards should choose fireproof or explosion-proof switches and sockets.
2. Correct selection of rated current and rated voltage: The rated current and rated voltage of switches and sockets should be consistent with the technical parameters of the electrical appliances. Do not overload the circuit to prevent it from burning out the insulation and causing a short circuit, leading to a fire.
3. Correct selection of fuses: Knife switches should use matching fuses. It is not allowed to make arbitrary changes, especially to thicken the melt, and it is not allowed to replace the fuse with metal wires such as copper, aluminum, and iron.
4. The single pole switch should be installed on the phase line: the single pole switch should control the phase line and cannot be connected to the neutral line. Otherwise, even if the switch is disconnected, if the human body contacts the phase and neutral wires, it will also cause an electric shock accident. If the phase line is grounded, a short circuit may occur and even cause a fire.
5. High power appliances should be wired separately from the power source and avoid using lamp sockets: Due to the high current of high-power appliances (such as microwave ovens, induction cookers, electric stoves, air conditioners, etc.) during operation, special sockets should be selected for power supply to such appliances, with a rated current of not less than 10A. It is best to connect the wires from the indoor distribution box. Select aluminum core wire with a cross-sectional area not less than 2.5mm2; Select copper core wires with a cross-sectional area of no less than 1.5mm2, and try not to operate high-power appliances simultaneously. It is strictly prohibited to use lamp sockets. Because high-power electrical appliances used on lamp sockets can cause fires due to severe overload.
